IMH-E must be renewed annually. 15 Continuing Education Units (CEU) must be documented each year related to infant mental health, reflective supervision/consultation, attachment, trauma, and any other IMH-E Competencies. CEUs may come from attendance at conferences and trainings; preparation and presentation of trainings; participation in an organized book review club; publication in a peer reviewed journal. Online training is acceptable for 3 of the 15 CEUs.

Renewal Forms are due to [email protected] on or before Jan. 1 for the previous 12 months.
Effective Jan. 15, 2017, renewals not received by Jan. 15 will be subject to late fees according to the following schedule:
| Received after Jan 15 and before Feb 15 | |
| Levels I and II | $25 |
| Levels III and IV | $50 |
| Received after Feb 15 and before Mar 15 | |
| Levels I and II | an additional $50 |
| Levels III and IV | an additional $100 |
Note: Fees will be cumulated.
If Renewal Form is not received by April 15, the person who desired continued Endorsement® must reapply entirely. (This includes a new application, transcripts, references, fees, exam -if applicable.)
