Development Director

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Development Director reports to the Board of Directors and is responsible for facilitating the organization's consistent achievement of its mission and organizational objectives. ITMHCA is seeking a contractual relationship with a seasoned administrative professional to advance the goals and mission of the Coalition.

This position is financed for two years as a part time, contract position, with a 12 month contract to be reviewed prior to consideration for renewal of the next 12 months. There is unlimited potential for fundraising and further expansion as the organization achieves financial stability and growth. The Board directs performance priorities for the position, with clear goals and objectives that serve as measures of success.

This position will require a flexible schedule which may include some evenings and weekends. There will be networking expectations both within and outside of the state and some travel out of state may be necessary.

ITMHCA is currently a volunteer-run organization overseen by a 14-member Board of Directors which includes nonvoting representatives. We have one part-time staff, Endorsement Coordinator, who coordinates and manages the Endorsement process. We hold a set of Competencies for those working with infants/toddlers and their families at levels of Infant/Family Associate, Infant/Family Specialist, Infant Mental Health Specialist, and Infant/Family Mentor (clinical, research/faculty, and policy). We offer training opportunities related to working with infants, toddlers and their families that coincide with the Competency Guidelines®. ITMHCA also offers a biennial Institute: From Risk to Resilience.
